Brightoil Petroleum (S'pore) appoints new CEO
Brightoil Petroleum (Holdings) Limited announces in its press release, that Mr. Wang Wei has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Brightoil Petroleum (S'pore) Pte . Ltd ., a wholly - owned subsidiary of the Group, with effect from 24 November 2014. Mr. Wang has more than 28 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. H e will be heading up the International Trading & Bunkering and the rental and operation of Oil Storage facilities of the Group.
Prior to joining the Group , Mr. Wang held several senior management positions in different business units of Sinochem Group , with the most recent position as Managing Director of Sinochem International Oil (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. Dr. SIT Kwong Lam, Chairman of Brightoil Petroleum , said, “ Mr. Wang possesses a wealth of experience and has a proven track record of success in the energy sector. We are confident that his appointment will be a catalyst to drive growth of the Group’s International Trading & Bunkering business , and reinforc ing our leadership in the market .”
