Hapag-Lloyd announces temporary suspension of PA2 Service between US East Coast and Europe
Today Hapag-Lloyd announces the amendment of the Pacific Atlantic 2 (PA2) service. In response to seasonal changes in market demand, the G6 Alliance will temporarily suspend the PA2 service for calling European ports and instead turn around at the US East Coast. The service portfolio between Asia and North America East Coast continues unchanged, the company said in its press release.

Hapag-Lloyd continues to offer a variety of services between Europe and the US East Coast. These are covering all major port pairs with weekly sailings and will be able to accommodate cargo currently moving on the PA2 service.
