Marina Kovtun suggests that Murmansk hosts International forum “The Arctic: Territory of dialogue” in 2015 (photo)
Murmansk region is eager to become a platform for discussion of Arctic related issues. According to the press center of the regional government, Murmansk Governor Marina Kovtun suggests that Murmansk hosts the International Arctic Forum of the Russian Geographical Society “The Arctic: Territory of dialogue” in 2015.
In her opinion, the event will integrate the efforts of all constituent entities of Russia’s northern region, business communities and science for sustainable social and economic development of Russia’s Arctic zone. She says the integration is to be based on the mutual interests.
