Good weather eases vehicles congestion on both shores of the Kerch Strait
There are a total of 95 vehicles awaiting their turn for the Kerch ferry service, including 35 cars in the port of Kavkaz and 40 units in Krym port, the United Transport Directorate said Thursday.
More than 6,500 passengers and some 2,000 vehicles have been carried the previous day by ferries across the Kerch Strait.
Currently, there are 90 and 170 trucks on the line for embarkation onto Ro-Ro ferries at the seaports of Novorossiysk and Kerch, accordingly.
"At the moment, the situation at the Kerch ferry line is stable, the weather is quite good. The ferries "Krym", "Jonas" and "Olympiada" are plying across the strait. The ferries "Yeysk" and "Kerch 2" are operating on the route “Port Kavkaz – "Kerch Fish Port", the UTD press office said.
