FESCO to supply Antarctica-based research stations of Argentina in 2015
OJSC Far Eastern Shipping Company will participate in the project on supplying Antarctica-based scientific-research stations of Argentina, press center of FESCO Group says.
The work under the tender won by the Company will commence in January 2015. It will be performed by diesel-electric ship Vasily Golovin throughout 45 days.
The ship currently operates at the coastal trade service of FESCO. In lat November she will leave for loading at Buenos Aires and then deliver general cargo, product and diesel fuel to the Antarctica.
FESCO has been participating in the project of Argentina’s Defence Ministry on supplying Antarctica-based scientific-research stations for 7 years already.
OJSC Far Eastern Shipping Company is the basic company of FESCO Transportation Group. It specializes in transportation of dry bulk and general cargo. The company’s fleet transports cargo all over the seven seas.
