Euroports sells its shares in Trilogiport Terminal to DP World
Euroports Belgium and DP World came to an agreement to conclude the sale of Euroports’ 2/3rd of shares in Trilogiport Terminal. DP World will become 100% shareholder of the inland container terminal, Euroports
Both companies were at the start of the project in 2008. They both believe the transaction will strengthen their individual strategies
In 2013 Euroports successfully concluded the sale of the inland container terminal in Meerhout to BCTN. Following that transaction Euroports found an interested buyer for Trilogiport in DP World. For DP World the Trilogiport terminal is a good match wih their current activities.
Euroports will use the proceeds of the sale to further invest in the growth of Dry Bulk and Breakbulk activities in Belgium and France.
