Throughput of port Singapore up 5.3% to 319.57 mln t in Jan-July’14
In January-July 2014, the port of Singapore handled 319.57 mln t of cargo (+5.3%, year-on-year). According to the Port Administration, oil transshipment increased by 5.3% to 106.74 mln t. The Port’s container throughput climbed by 3.64% to 19.45 mln TEUs.
Singapore is a Southeast Asian island city-state. In 2013, container throughput of port Singapore hit 32.58 TEUs, while the port’s total throughput reached 560.88 mln t.
