Tuapse Commercial Seaport starts allowing up to 30-pct discounts for services of tugboats and auxiliary fleet
From August 1, 2014, Tuapse Commercial Seaport OJSC started allowing considerable discounts for the mooring services provided by tugboats and auxiliary fleet services, IAA PortNews was informed by one of agency companies in Tuapse.
The discounts are provided to vessels covered by the complete package of works and services of Tuapse Commercial Seaport. In some cases a discount can be up to 30%.
Tuapse Commercial Seaport OJSC is the main operator at the port of Tuapse, one of Russia’s largest ports. It is a part of UCL Port, stevedoring division of international transport group UCL Holding. UCL Port also consolidates OJSC Sea Port St. Petersburg, CJSC Container Terminal Saint Petersburg, Universal Handling Terminal LLC based in North-West of Russia, and Taganrog port in the South. In 2013, the port handled 12.3 mln t of cargo.
The company’s fleet of transshipment equipment consists of 29 portal cranes with the capacity of 10 to 124 tonnes and 65 loaders and bulldozers.
