Shipyard De Hoop completes sea trials of FSIV
The first 55 metre Fast Supply Intervention Vessel (FSIV) has undergone week-long sea trials at the Hollands Diep, Haringvliet and Noordzee, the company reports.
This ship is the first one in a series of seven, whereby five vessels will be completed before the end of July 2014.
Shipyard De Hoop (owned by CEO Patrick Janssens) was founded in 1889 and has developed into one of the most established yards of the Dutch shipbuilding industry. Shipyard De Hoop specializes in designing, engineering and building custom vessels, for both the inland and seagoing markets.
