USC President: Russia needs to achieve a 100% import substitution in naval shipbuilding
It is urgent for Russia to achieve a 100% import substitution in naval shipbuilding, Alexey Rakhmanov, President of United Shipbuilding Corp. (USC) said in an interview with "Russia 24" TV Channel commenting on the U.S. sanctions.
The corporation head said that he is concerned about the possible termination of cooperation with European partners in the field of marine equipment necessary for offshore projects. In this case, said Rakhmanov, Russian engineers and draftsmen will have "use again to the drawing board."
