Kerch ferry line terminal congestion update: about 730 cars at ports of Kavkaz and Krym
According to the United Transport Directorate, managing among others transportation on the Kerch ferry line, there are currently about 720 autos lined up at the Port of Kavkaz waiting for their turn and 10 cars at port of Krym.
Overall, between Jul. 28, 08:00 am and Jul. 29, 08:00 am the Kerch ferry service vessels have made nearly 70 round trips and transported 3,600 vehicles and some 18,000 passengers, 3,314 of them traveling on a multimodal single ticket.
"As of now, there are six ferries operating on the Kerch ferry service. The average waiting time prior to boarding the ferry nears 10 hours", the UTD said.
