Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg and Ningbo Port Group Limited (China) sign memorandum of friendship and cooperation (photo)
Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg OJSC and Ningbo Port Group Limited (China) signed a memorandum of friendship and cooperation on November 11, 2013. The document was signed by Pavel Oleynik, Managing Director of Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg and Li Linghong, President of Ningbo Port Group Limited, IAA PortNews learnt from the Saint-Petersburg Government’s Transport Committee.
The parties have agreed to cooperate in exchange of information on the companies’ investment projects and working out of future cooperation opportunities.
The document was signed in Smolny under the auspices of Saint-Petersburg Transport Committee of Saint-Petersburg Government.
Ningbo Port Company Limited is one of major operators at Ningbo, one of major ports in mainland China. It is located Zhejiang. It has economic trade with over 600 ports from more than 100 countries. In 2012, the port’s throughput exceeded 447 mln t of cargo (+3.2%, year-on-year); its container throughput exceeded 15.67 mln TEUs (+8%, year-on-year).
