Ukraine is ready to assist Bulgaria in cutting down channel way at Bulgarian-Romanian section of Danube
Ukrainian specialists can assist Bulgaria in cutting down the channel way at the Bulgarian-Romanian section of the Danube River. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov at a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria Kristian Vigenin, web-portal of Ukrainian Government says.
According to him to active transportation between countries the channel way of the Danube Bulgarian-Romanian section has be cut down first of all.
"We have held the works on the cutting down of the channel way of our section of the Danube River. And if Bulgaria wants to take advantage of our expertise and services, we are ready to cooperate. I’m ready to send the Minister of Infrastructure in order he can to acquaint Bulgarian colleagues about our capabilities," Mykola Azarov said.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria in this context said that the project for the Bulgarian side is a priority; this project is also funded by the EU under the so-called Danube Strategy.
"If the Ukrainian companies have appropriate experience, we are ready to invite them to learn their experience when we start working on this project," the Minister said.
