Russian Gov’t shortlisted 10 candidates for the Board of Sovcomflot
The Russian Government has approved a list of ten candidates for election as independent directors and state representatives to the Board of Directors of state-owned JSC Sovcomflot (“Modern Commercial Fleet", SCF Group), the official Russian Gov’t website said.
The list of contenders for seats on the Board of SCF Group for the 2013-2014 corporate year was formed on the basis of proposals by the federal bodies of executive power in accordance with standards established by the Russian Government decree December 3, 2004 (No 738).
The candidates shortlisted by the government are the current members of the Board of Directors - Chairman of the Board Ilya Klebanov, President of the SRO Association of Shipping Companies Alexey Klyavin, Deputy Minister of Transport Viktor Olersky, Deputy Chairman of VEB Mikhail Poluboyarinov, President of Transneft Nikolay Tokarev and President & CEO of Sovcomflot Sergey Frank.
The government put on the list of independent directors the current members - Marlen Manasov, David Moorhouse and Charles Ryan.
Russian Federation owns 100% of shares in JSC Sovcomflot.
