Rates of port dues collected by Rosmorport take effect on July 23, 2013
Rossiyskaya Gazeta has officially published the Order of Russian Federal Tariff Service (FTS) dated 30.04.2013 No 85-t/1 On approval of rates of port dues for services rendered by FSUE Rosmorport in the seaports of the Russian Federation registered by RF Ministry of Justice on July 2, 2013.
According to the established procedure, the Order comes into effect all around the Russian Federation upon the expiry of a 10-day period after its official publication – from July 23, 2013.
As compared with the prior Order of FTS (dated 20.12.2007 No 522-t/1), for the first time from 2007 specific rates of port dues have been approved for FSUE Rosmorport as a natural monopoly operating in Russian seaports under state regulation.
In particular, the Order dated 30.04.2013 No 85-t/1 sets forth new rates of port dues collected by the Rosmorport un the following seaports:
- rates of ecological dues in Ust-Luga seaport;
- rates of icebreaking dues in Kandalaksha seaport;
- rates of navigation dues in Yeisk seaport as well as navigation dues at the rates of VTMS in Azov seaport;
- rates of lighthouse dues in Astrakhan seaport;
- rates of pilotage dues in Okhotsk seaport;
- rates of port dues in Beringovsky, Makhachkala, Nevelsk and Taman seaports.
The new Order sets forth new uniform rates of port dues for all sea terminals within the boundaries of Shakhtersk seaport.
Besides, the Order changes rates of icebreaking dues in Vanino seaport, rates of navigation dues including VTMS in Taganrog seaport and rates of port dues collected from ro-ro cargo vessels in Ust-Luga seaport.
