Development of logistics center in Odessa port might be interesting for concessionaires
In June, on the basis of the port of Antwerp (Belgium) was conducted a seminar "Management of container terminals", with the participation of specialists in logistics and commercial work from 35 countries worldwide, says press-service of Odessa port Authority. The deputy Head of Logistics and Commercial Work from the port of Odessa Authority Denis Buzinovskiy attended the event.
According to him, after the acquaintance with European ports of Antwerp, Zeebrugge (Belgium), Rotterdam (Netherlands), along with the technologies of the container terminals the participants showed interest in flow chart of logistics centers. The first steps to establish such a center in the port of Odessa have been already made. However, it is crucial to develop infrastructure, create an extensive network of communications, storage spaces.
- It might be a set of production and storage modules on labeling, packaging and primary cargo handling, which are connected to motorways and railways - said D.Buzinovsky. - Such a project may be of interest to business, if you offer its implementation in terms of concession.
