Container throughput of Transiidikeskuse terminal (Estonia) up 10% to 1.3 mln t in HI’13
In January-June 2013, container terminal Transiidikeskuse in Muuga handled 1,310,821 tonnes of cargo (+10%, year-on-year), the company says.
According to Erik Laidvee, Chairman of Transiidikeskuse Board, 10-pct growth is a satisfactory result. “We expect that the coming five years will also be marked with average increase of 10%. This year we will handle 260,000 TEU, in 2015 – some 300,000 TEU.”
In June, the terminal handled 22,588 TEUs (+22%, year-on-year), in January-June – 127,704 TEUs.
Transiidikeskuse AS is an operator of specialized container and general cargo terminals in Muuga port.
