UCL Holding not planning to sell URC – company comment
UCL Holding is not going to sell Universal Reloading Complex at port Ust-Luga (URC, Leningrad region), IAA PortNews refers to the comment of the Holding’s managing company on speculations about possible sale of this stevedoring asset which circulate in media. Meanwhile the company confirmed that the Holding was proposed by one of potential investors to buy URC but no substantive negotiations were held, no decisions were taken in this regard. “Actually, such proposals are quite frequent and we consider them but we did not and do not put up URC for sale,” the press center comments.
UCL Holding also says they are considering attraction of a strategic partner for the Holding.
Universal Reloading Complex LLC (part of UCL Port, stevedoring division of international transport group UCL Holding) is a cargo terminal at the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region. It specializes in acceptance, storage and shipment of exported and imported dry bulk cargo. In 2012, Universal Reloading Complex LLC handled 2.9 mln t of cargo.
