Russia has huge potential for container shipping development – Gulftainer
One of the key reasons for Gulftainer to enter Russian market of container shipping is the country’s huge potential for the development of container transportation, IAA PortNews journalist cites Rob Humby, Principle Director of Gulftainer, as saying at the Russian Ports conference.
The market of container shipping is quite saturated in Russia and I hope the construction of such ports as Ust-Luga will raise the traffic volume, Humby said.
Gulftainer Company Limited was established in 1976 in the Emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. The company's primary role is to manage and operate the container terminals in Port Khalid and Khorfakkan on behalf of Sharjah Port Authority.
