DP World delivers cool comfort to Dubai Centre for special needs
In a timely move ahead of the harsh summ er months, premier regional port operator DP World , UAE Region has installed a brand new , air - conditioning system at the Dubai Centre for Special Needs. A dedicated team of management, marketing, procurement and technical experts from DP World flagship Je bel Ali Port carried out a thorough inspection of the existing cooling system and drew up new refurbishment plans before installing the AED 220,000 massive new air - conditioners at no cost to the Centre.
The completed, fully - functioning system was symbolic ally handed back to the Centre’s management during a brief ceremony attended by Abdullah Khalfan, Director - Projects Development Department, DP World , UAE Region , and Masoud Al Noori, Director - Human Resources Department, DP World, UAE Region , Dr. Mahshi d Salehi, Director of Dubai Center for Special Needs , staff and students of the Centre .
During their visit the DP World officials interacted with the students, who presented their artistic work and plays. Commenting on the occasion, Mohammed Al Muallem, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, DP World , UAE Region said: “We are delighted to support the Dubai Centre for Special Needs, which has been doing a wonderful job of educating these special members of our society in order to ensure a brighter future for them.
