Throughput of Ukrainian seaports down 6.3% to 60.08 mln t Jan-May’13
In January-May, 2013, seaports of Ukraine handled 60.08 mln t of cargo (-6.3%, year-on-year), says State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Transshipment of import cargo was up 2.8% to 7.4 mln t, export cargo – down 45.4%, transit – down 14.6%.
In the 5-month period, throughput of Ukrainian river ports dropped by 28.6%, year-on-year, to 888,800 tonnes of cargo including 102,800 tonnes of import cargo (+30.6%), 391,000 tonnes of export cargo (-29.4%) and 350,100 tonnes of inland traffic cargo (-39.4%).
