Cargo traffic of Ukraine’s water transport down 21.4% to 1.7 mln t Jan-May’13
In January-May 2013, water transport of Ukraine carried 1.7 mln t of cargo (-21.4%, year-on-year), says State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Cargo turnover fell 31.9% to 1.619 bln tonne-km.
The decline was still registered in all types of transport – railway, automobile, water, air and pipeline.
In January-May, cargo transportation by all types of transport made 296.7 mln t (-6.5%, year-on-year).
