Aleksandr Lagosha to remain the head of Yuzhny seaport (Ukraine)
Aleksandr Lagosha will remain the head of Yuzhny seaport (Ukraine) after reorganization. According to the port’s press center, the official name of the company will not be changed.
At the same time, the branch of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority has started operation at port Yuzhny. It was set up through reorganization of the state company Commercial Sea Port Yuzhny. The newly-founded body will execute the functions set forth by the Law on Ukrainian Seaports.
The Branch is headed by Maksim Shirokov.
As it was reported earlier, former head of Odessa Commercial Sea Port Yury Vaskov was elected the head of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – state body controlling the strategic property of national sea harbours (berths, water areas, canals, general infrastructure facilities). The Authority has its branches in all state seaports. Other port property (handling equipment, port fleet, ship repair facilities, vehicles) is on the books of state port companies.
