Infraserv Logistics GmbH launches new train Rhine/Main - Rotterdam
The logistics service provider Infraserv Logistics GmbH is offering an extra connection between the Rhine/Main region (Frankfurt) in Germany and the terminals in the port of Rotterdam. Infraserv is using transport provider Contargo to operate a thrice-weekly freight train service between the Höchst industrial park and Rotterdam, said in the press release.
A wide range of commodities can be transported by rail from point of departure to destination within a mere ten hours. The link will give forwarders a genuine time advantage. From now on, the trains are running on a slightly amended route so that Infraserv Logistics in Frankfurt can take over a portion of the train with an average of eleven container wagons and haul them to the trimodal port in the Höchst industrial park.
