Epic Shipping orders two 3,500 cbm gas carriers
Epic Shipping announced today that it has contracted to build two 3,500cbm fully-pressurised LPG carriers, said in the company's press release. The vessels will be built by Kitanihon Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in Japan to be delivered in mid-2014. “We look very much forward to working with Kitanih on Shipbuilding on this project. The newbuildings Epic has now contracted will allow us to selectively replace the older tonnage in our existing fleet in due course and to offer our c ustomers an even wider choice of modern high quality ships” stated Lars Vang Christensen, Chief Executive Officer of Epic.
