Throughput of Port Vysotsky LLC up 86.8% to 1.9 mln t Jan-May’13
In January-May, 2013, Port Vysotsky LLC handled 1,961,993.3 tonnes of cargo (+86.8%, year-on-year) including 500,184.4 tonnes of coal handled in May’13.
Port Vysotsky LLC specializes in transshipment of Russian coal to the Western Europe. In 2012 the company’s turnover increased by 2.9% to 3,295,727 tonnes of coal. The port’s water area and the approach canal are 12.7 meters deep with the width of the canal totaling 200 metres. Maximal draft of vessels accepted in the port is 11.9 meters which enables the port to accept 45,000-dwt vessels. From August 2012 the company started handling Panamax size vessels.
