Nikolai Kovalev appointed Director of Rosmorport’s Astrakhan branch
Nikolai Kovalev has been appointed the Director General of Rosmorport’s Astrakhan branch from May 30, 2013, Rosmorport informs.
Kovalev Nikolay Aleksandrovich was born on March, 12th, 1960 in Pirozhok homestead, Volgodonsk district, Rostov region.
In 1980 he graduated from Odessa Seaworthy College of Ministry of Marine Fleet with a specialization in ship administrative and economic services as a technician-organizer. In 2005 he graduated from Astrakhan State Technical University with a specialization in economics and management of enterprise as an economist-manager.
From October, 1980 till January, 1986 he worked as Accountant, Logistics Manager in the Astrakhan Sea Fleet Administration of Astrakhan Sea Shipping Company “KASPAR”.
From January, 1986 till January, 2000 he was Chief of Administrative Department in the Astrakhan Production Association of Sea Transport renamed as the North-Caspian Sea Shipping Company in 1993.
From January, 2000 till February, 2004 he consecutively held the positions of Chief of Administrative Service and Chief Engineer in Sea Administration of the Port of Astrakhan.
From March 2004 till May 2013 he worked as Chief Engineer of the FSUE Rosmorport Astrakhan Branch.
From August 2011 till May 2013 he acted as Director of the FSUE Rosmorport Astrakhan Branch without leaving his current position.
