Hapag-Lloyd introduces a Lisbon call on the Med Pacific Service
In January 2013 Hapag-Lloyd has resumed the eastbound call at the Portuguese capital of Lisbon with its JMCS Route A Service after suspension owing to strike actions in the metropolis on the Targus river, said in the company's press release.
In order to further improve schedule reliability Hapag-Lloyd decided to skip this call on the JMCS Route A Service and introduce an eastbound Lisbon call in direct continuation with the Med Pacific Service.
The last MCA vessel to call at Lisbon eastbound will be:
Lisbon Express 30E26 eta Lisbon June 30, 2013
The first MPS vessel to call at Lisbon eastbound will be:
Sofia Schulte 06E24, eta Lisbon July 9, 2013
The new Med Pacific Service rotation reads as follows:
Tacoma • Vancouver • Portland • Oakland • Los Angeles • Manzanillo, Mexico • Manzanillo, Panama • Cartagena • Caucedo • Lisbon • Tangier • Valencia • Cagliari • Livorno • Genoa • Fos • Barcelona
Connections to further Mediterranean destinations, Far East, India, Middle East and North America can be offered via Hapag-Lloyd’s hub ports of Cagliari and Valencia.
