North-Western Shipping Company delivers reactor vessel for Rostov NPP
North-Western Shipping Company OJSC has completed transportation of the reactor vessel from St. Petersburg to Volgodonsk for the third unit of Rostov NPP (branch of Rosenergoatom Concern), NWSC reports.
The transportation involved the tugboat Aleksandr Obukhov and RO-RO barge 2033. The operation was performed jointly with Infotech-Baltika CJSC. The project management was carried out by Volgo-Baltic Logistic.
The reactor vessel was manufactured by Izhorskiy Zavod. Its weight is 322 tonnes, length - 11 m, width – 5.6 m, height – 5.7 m.
