IFO380 bunker prices in Singapore, Fujairah fall to new lows for the year

Bunker prices were continuing to fall on Thursday, with Ship & Bunker data showing IFO380 in some key bunkering ports hit new lows for the year yesterday.
Singapore IFO380 was down $4.50 to a new low for 2013 of $594.50 per metric tonne (pmt). Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) was steady at $697.50 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $103.00 pmt. MGO fell $9.00 to $863.50 pmt.
Rotterdam IFO380 was down $6.50 to $578.00 pmt, $8.00 higher than the current low for the year set last month. LS380 moved down $10.50 to $598.00, and MGO fell $13.00 to $848.00 pmt.
Fujairah IFO380 fell $5.50 to move below the $600.00 pmt mark fir the first time since November last year, setting a new low for 2013 of $599.50 pmt. MGO moved down $3.00 to $1000.00 pmt, a change of $-2.50 and a spread of just $13.00 over the last month.
Houston IFO380 slipped $4.00 to $582.50 pmt, $7.00 higher than the low for the year set in April. LS380 dropped $2.50 to $637.50 making the premium for the low sulfur fuel $55.00 pmt, while MGO dropped $2.00 to $971.00 pmt for a change of $-2.00 over the last two weeks with a spread of $11.00 in that time.
