Throughput of Ukrainian seaports down 5.1% to 48.65 mln t in Jan-Apr’13
In January-April, 2013, Ukrainian seaports handled 48.65 mln t of cargo (-5.1%, year-on-year), State Statistics Service of Ukraine informs.
Transshipment of import cargo increased by 5.5%, year-on-year, to 5.94 mln t, export – fell by 4.9%, transit – fell by 15.6%.
Throughput of Ukrainian river ports dropped by 20% to 667,600 tonnes.
In the 4-month period, river ports handled 100,300 tones of import cargo (+36.5%), 300,500 tonnes of export cargo (-27.7%), 266,500 tonnes of coastal trade cargo (-22.5%).
