Throughput of Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port up 13.1% to 963,600 t in Jan-Apr’13
In January-April, 20013, Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port OJSC handled 963,600 tonnes of cargo (+13.1%, year-on-year), the company informs.
In April 2013, VSFP handled 261,400 tonnes of cargo (+10.5%).
In the 4-month period, transshipment of dry bulk cargo surged by 47.8% to 435,500 tonnes. Transshipment of fish goods climbed by 6.8% to 45,500 tonnes. In the reported period, the company handled 10,762 units of automotive equipment. VSFP’s container throughput gained 4.9% and reached 44,933 TEUs.
In the accounting period, the port handled 236 vessels and 10,580 wagons.
Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port OJSC operates a multipurpose transshipment complex at the southern coast of Zolotoi Rog Bay. The berthing line of 10 berths which is 2,020 m long, 9 km of railway lines and 3 locomotives enable the company to handle 71 wagons per day.
