Russia sees a 3.5% drop in HFO production, with diesel volumes climb 0.8% in Jan-Apr, 2013
Production of heavy fuel oil in Russia in January-April 2013 decreased by 882,200 tonnes (-3.5%), compared with the four-month period of 2012, to 24.616 million tonnes, the Russian Ministry of Energy data shows.
Production of HFO in April 2013 fell 6.5% (-391,600 tonnes) from last year’s monthly figure, to 5.629 million tonnes.
Production of diesel fuel in Russia, rose 0.8% in January-April (+176.6 million tonnes) to 22.852 million tonnes, with a 3.6-percent decline (-190,700 tonnes) to 5.105 million tonnes in April 2013.
