Rosmorport and Port Fleet subsidiary sign contract on ecological services at Big Port St. Petersburg
On May 15, 2013, FSUE Rosmorport and Ecological Fleet LLC (Port Fleet subsidiary) signed a contract on providing ecological services to vessels subject to obligatory ecological dues at Big Port St. Petersburg. As PortNews IAA learnt from Yevgeny Savkin, Port Fleet Director General, the first request for ecological services under new contract was complied with on May 15, 2013.
For providing the above services the company deploys 7 different ecological vessels.
“That is enough for servicing all vessels calling on Big Port St. Petersburg,” Savkin said.
Under the contract, Ecological Fleet LLC receives Rosmorport requests for servicing certain vessels. Requests are submitted to Rosmorport by ship agents selecting one of two companies operating under the contracts with the state enterprise.
As IAA PortNews reported earlier, in January 2013, Rosmorport signed similar contract with Kontur SPb LLC (Baltic Fuel Company).
