Almaz Shipbuilding Company to lay down floating crane on May 17, 2013
Almaz Shipbuilding Company OJSC will lay the keel of self-propelled floating crane of project 02690 (No 900) on May 17, 2013, the shipyard informs.
Project 02690 was designed by Spetssudoproect CJSC (St. Petersburg) for lifting and hoisting, loading of surface crafts and submarines, fitting of chains at floating berths, installation road equipment and on deck transportation of cargo.
Major characteristics – full displacement – about 2,000 tonnes, length – about 50 m, breadth – about 22 m, range – 3,500 miles, endurance - 10 days, lifting capacity - 35-150 tonnes, crew - 22 persons.
Almaz Shipbuilding Company OJSC jointly with Almaz Shipyard OJSC continue construction of a series of border guard cruisers of project 22460 (territorial ship sea), coast guard motor boats of project 12200 Sobol and ice-class vessel of project 22120 for FSB Border Guard.
