Net profit of Murmansk Commercial Seaport up almost 4-fold to RUB 300 mln in QI'13
In the first quarter 2013, net profit of Murmansk Commercial Seaport OJSC calculated under Russian Accounting Standards totaled RUB 299.9 mln, which is almost 4-fold increase, year-on-year, the company announced.
In the accounting period, the company’s revenue grew by 17.7% to RUB 992.98 mln.
Murmansk Commercial Seaport OJSC was established in 1994 on base of the public enterprise and nowadays it is one of Russia’s busiest ports. The port has 17 berths with total length of some 3,000 meters. The length and depth enables the port to handle vessels of up to 15.5 meters in draught and over 265 meters in length. In 2012, the company handled 15.69 mln t of cargo.
