Throughput of Evpatoria seaport (Ukraine) makes 77,970 tonnes in April’13
In April 2013, Commercial Seaport of Evpatoria handled 77,974 tonnes of cargo, the stevedoring company informs.
Transshipment of general cargo amounted to 65,553 tonnes, dry bulk cargo – 12,421 tonnes.
In April, the port handled 65 vessels including 16 ferries, and 4 vessels carrying packaged goods. 1,977 large capacity automobile passed the port for ferries.
Commercial Seaport of Evpatoria is located in the northern part of Kalamitskiy Bay (Black Sea). The navigation lasts round the year as the port does not freeze. There is a ferry terminal for transshipment of general cargo and servicing passengers.
