Big price drop for LA / Long Beach bunkers in week 18

The price of IFO380 bunkers in Los Angeles and Long Beach made a big drop last week, falling $8.50 to $613.00 per metric tonne (pmt) on Friday to finish week 18 $48.50 lower than the previous Friday.
More than half of that drop was recorded on Wednesday when the product moved down $30.50 pmt, according to Ship & Bunker data.
Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) ended the week $28.00 lower week-on-week at $748.50 pmt, while MGO climbed $5.50 on Friday to finish $8.50 higher week-on-week at $1007.50 pmt.
On the U.S. Gulf Coast, Houston IFO380 was up $4.50 to end the week $10.00 higher than last Friday at $591.50 pmt, and LS380 moved up $6.00 to $652.00, $1.00 lower than last Friday's price.
Houston's MGO moved up $3.00 to $954.00 pmt for a week-on-week change of $+1.00.
