EuroChem acquires 47.67% voting shares of Murmansk Commercial Seaport
Mineral-Chemical Company EuroChem OJSC has acquired 47.67% of voting shares (53,943 shares) of Murmansk Commercial Seaport, EuroChem informs. Before the deal the company had no stevedore’s shares. The shareholder has obtained the right to use the votes of these shares. No details are disclosed.
In late 2012, Federal antimonopoly service provided EuroChem with the permit for the purchase of Murmansk Commercial Seaport shares.
Murmansk Commercial Seaport OJSC was established in 1994 on base of the public enterprise and nowadays it is one of Russia’s busiest ports. The port has 17 berths with total length of some 3,000 meters. The length and depth enables the port to handle vessels of up to 15.5 meters in draught and over 265 meters in length. In 2012, the company handled 15.69 mln t of cargo.
