Monthly throughput of Neva Pipeline Company up over 2-fold to 2.39 mln t
From the launch of oil terminal in Ust-Luga port in March 2012, Neva Pipeline Company LLC handled 212 vessels and shipped over 21 mln t of oil: 14.3 mln t over 9 months of 2012 and over 6.8 mln t this year, the company states.
From March 23, 2013 till April 23, 2013 oil transshipment via the terminal of Neva Pipeline Company totaled 2,397,009 tonnes (up over 2-fold, year-on-year).
According to Konstantin Khamlai, Director General of Neva Pipeline Company LLC, the plan for 2013 is 15 mln t, “it took less than 4 months to ship almost half of the year plan”.
Ust-Luga-based terminal of Neva Pipeline Company LLC is the end point of BPS-2.
The terminal was launched on March 23, 2012 in the presence Vladimir Putin, Chairman of RF Government.
The owner and operator of the oil terminal is Neva Pipeline Company LLC (NPC). 50% of the authorized capital is held by Gunvor Group, 26% - by Transneft Ust-Luga LLC (Transneft subsidiary), 24% - Gazprombank OJSC.
