Neva-metal expands operations with large capacity containers
CJSC Neva-Metal has expanded the range of cargo operations with large capacity containers, the company’s press center informs.
The company plans to accept and handle containerized cargo dedicated for railway transportation at the rear terminal Khimichesky.
As of today, total length of the terminal railway lines is 420 meters (capacity– 30 wagons). The capacity of the container terminal located at the territory is 700 TEUs.
CJSC Neva-Metal is a stevedoring company of Severstal OJSC. It is a part of the division Severstal. Russian steel. The berths of Neva-Metal located in the 3rd Cargo Area of Big Port St. Petersburg are used for transshipment of ferrous metal of Cherepovets Steel Mill Severstal and secondary metals of Severstal-vtormet LLC as well as for handling of containerized cargo.
