COSCON and partners to optimize ESA service
To meet the blooming requirement from marts, starting from 11th May, 2013, COSCON,EVERGREEN and ZIM will optimize Far-East to South America East Coast service (ESA), COSCON press release said.
With enhancing the market in Argentina and Uruguay, the adjustment will also expand the port coverage in Brazil, especially for those cargoes to Rio Grande and Itapoa, which originally carried by the method of transshipping will be replaced by this direct service with the competitive t/s time.
The carriers will deploy on the service container ships of nominal capacity of 8’500 TEUs.
ESA service port rotation: Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Hong Kong, Singapore, Santos, Paranagua , Montevideo , Buenos Aires , Rio Grande , Itapoa , Santos , Singapore , Hong Kong , Shanghai.
The first sailing is scheduled for May 11, 2013 from Shanghai.
