Cargo handling suspended at port Novorossiysk due to storm warning - NCSP
Storm warning is in force at port Novorossiysk due to north-east wind, press center of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port informs. Cargo handling and mooring operations are suspended, the facilities are fixed. According to the forecast, the storm warning caused by the wind will be in force till the second half of April 17, 2013.
NCSP OJSC operates in compliance with the weather conditions. The port is handling cargoes arriving by motor and railway transport, forming shiploads. New transshipment equipment of NCSP is fitted with magnetic holders enabling it to handle cargo despite the strong wind, the statement says. The port will resume normal operation upon improvement of weather conditions.
