Gazprom and Tatarstan discuss development of gas-engine fuel market
Victor Zubkov, Chairman of Gazprom BoD and Director General of Gazpromgazomotornoye toplivo LLC, and Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Republic of Tatarstan, met on Friday to discuss the development of gas-engine fuel market in the Republic of Tatarstan, IAA PortNews learnt from press secretary of Zubkov.
“We must increase gas supplies to internal market. Over the past five years, consumption of compressed gas increased by 27% in the world while we have seen an increase of 0.2%. We have set up a company, Gazpromgazomotornoye toplivo, willing and able to be efficient and mobile on a large-scale,” Zubkov explained.
The meeting participants achieved agreements on development of a plan of activities for promotion of transport transfer to gas fuel in Tatarstan in 2013-2015.
