Lotos Shipyard counts on continued serial production of RST-25 tankers and RSD-49 dry cargo carriers
Lotos Shipyard OJSC counts on continued serial production of project RST–25 tankers and project RSD-49 dry cargo carriers, Caspian Energy Group says in its press release.
The Group’s shipbuilding companies - Lotos Shipyard OJSC and Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association OJSC have been recently visited by Dmitry Rogozin, Deputy Chairman of RF Government, Chairman of Military-Industrial Commission of RF Government.
“We hope for continued serial production of project RST–25 tankers and project RSD-49 dry cargo carriers. The customers are interested in it”, Lotos Director General Ivan Klementyev confirmed when talking with the officials.
Lotos also plans to build a large center for production of metal structures.
Lotos Shipyard OJSC specializes in construction of hulls for different vessels and in their complete fitting. Form 2012, the company is managed by United Shipbuilding Corporation OJSC. The company’s major shareholders are United Shipbuilding Corporation OJSC, Caspian Energy Group OJSC, Arkhangelsk Region Government.
