Throughput of Commercial Port of Vladivostok down 13% to 1.43 mln t in QI'13
In January-March 2013, Commercial Port of Vladivostok OJSC (part of FESCO Transportation Group) handled 1,436,900 tonnes of cargo (-13%, year-on-year), the port’s statistics says.
Export, import and coastwise transportation of dry cargo, liquid bulk cargo and other general cargo excluding containers and automotive equipment totaled 610,900 tonnes.
The company’s container throughput made 106,745 TEUs, transshipment of automobiles and automotive equipment – 21,543 units.
Average daily handling was 15,965 tonnes of cargo and 258 units of rolling stock.
Commercial Port of Vladivostok OJSC owns and operates the property complex of the port of Vladivostok, one of Russia’s largest ports in the Far East. It is a part of FESCO Transport Group. Commercial Port of Vladivostok operates 17 berths including container, passenger, motor car specialized berths. In 2012 the company’s throughput grew by 4%, to 6,668,100 tonnes.
