RF Transport Ministry issues draft order on compulsory regulations at Taman port
Russian Ministry of Transport gas published a draft order “On adoption of compulsory regulations at Taman port”.
The seaport is located at the Black Sea coast of the Taman peninsula, between the capes of Zhelezny Rog and Panagiya. The non-freezing port with round the year navigation operates 24 hours a day and has a permanent border crossing point.
The port handles different types of cargo including dangerous cargoes of all IMO classes of hazard excluding class 7.
The port provides tugging services which are obligatory for mooring and relocation of vessels with displacement exceeding 500 tonnes.
