Multipurpose vessel FESCO Posiet joins the fleet of Far Eastern Shipping Company
On April 5, 2013 the fleet of Far Eastern Shipping Company OJSC accepted a multipurpose vessel FESCO Posiet, which is to be deployed for FESCO’s own coastal trade services. According to the press center of FESCO Group, the vessel registered in port Vladivostok will operate under Russian flag.
The FESCO Posiet is able to carry any type of cargo including 546 TEUs and up to 70 refrigerated containers. The vessel’s ice class L1 enables her to operate in freezing ports.
The FESCO Posiet is equipped with two 50-tonne electric-hydraulic cranes enabling the vessel to discharge over undeveloped beaches.
The vessel’s characteristics: length – 113.12 m, breadth – 18.9 m, deadweight – 9,597 tonnes, maximal speed - 15 knots. Year of construction - 1992.
