Commercial Port of Vladivostok commences groupage of goods for northern Russia
Commercial Port of Vladivostok OJSC has commenced groupage of goods to be delivered to the Northern Territories of Russia, the company’s press center informs.
Production capacity of the stevedoring company make it possible to ensure supply of all goods for the Chukotka Autonomous District through the port of Anadyr, and port points of Providenije, Egvenkinot, Beringovski and Pevek.
The deliveries through Commercial Port of Vladivostok include the railway component, surveyor, agency and forwarding companies as well as shipping companies. Cargo dispatch will start in May. The schedule will be adjusted in compliance with cargo batching. Then a container line FADL with regular calls on the ports of Vladivostok, Anadyr, Providenije and Egvenkinot will start. A call on Pevek is scheduled for August.
Commercial seaport of Vladivostok is a basic port of Chukotka-Arctic deliveries. Major cargoes handled by the port for northern territories are containers, fuel and lubricants, technical equipment, construction materials, consumer goods within the range of 70,000 to 100,000 tonnes.
Commercial Port of Vladivostok OJSC owns and operates the property complex of the port of Vladivostok, one of Russia’s largest ports in the Far East. It is a part of FESCO Transport Group. Commercial Port of Vladivostok operates 17 berths including container, passenger, motor car specialized berths. In 2012 the company’s throughput grew by 4%, to 6,668,100 tonnes.
