Gazprom plans building LNG bunkering terminal at the Gulf of Finland
Gazprom plans to build a terminal for bunkering of vessels with liquefied natural gas (LNG) at the shore of the Gulf of Finland, IAA PortNews journalist learnt from Pavel Oderov, Head of the International Business Department, Gazprom, at the Baltic Sea Forum. According to Oderov, the pre-investment feasibility study is to be completed by the end of 2013, the parameters and location of the terminal have not been determined yet, nor the method of bunkering.
Meanwhile, Oleg Vodeneev, Deputy Director General of Primorsk Commercial Seaport, who also attended the Forum, said that his company is negotiating the possibility of building such a terminal in the port of Primorsk with Gazprom in particular.
